Intro to Jiu Jitsu: One Week Starter Course for Kids

• Designed for first-time and beginner-level students
• 1.5 hours of daily jiu jitsu instruction and sparring games

Judo for BJJ: Master the Move - Best of Drop Seoi Nage

• Designed for current practitioners looking to elevate their standup game
• 1.5 hours of daily focus on setups, mechanics and finishing options to the judo technique Drop Seoi Nage
• Monday, Jan. 5 - Friday, Jan. 9th
• 12:30pm - 2pm
• Daily challenges and team competitions with funny penances
• Safe, structured environment designed to master a great judo technique for jiu jitsu, on the safest martial arts surface available anywhere

Classes will be taught by Shimeru's primary coaches, led by head coach Patrick Dooley. He is a SafeSport-certified national judo coach who holds a second-degree judo black belt and first degree jiu jitsu black belt. He will be joined on the mat and throughout the camps by Shimeru's assistant coach—a judo black belt and jiu jitsu brown belt. The coaching team has been working together for more than four years, teaching jiu jitsu and judo to hundreds of children, ages four through teenage years. 

Shimeru's top-notch facilities include with nearly 3,000 square feet of elevated mat spaces, most built on spring sub-floors, for the safest possible training environment.
